All your journal data—tasks, events, habits, moods, and notes—is stored locally on your device using a SQLite database. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to sync it.

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs these transactions.
You can export your data at any time in multiple formats (JSON, CSV, Markdown). Your data belongs to you.
Dot Journal does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or personal information to function.
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
